Moraira is an excellent place for sports and other activities throughout the year. Golf, tennis, hiking, cycling, mountain biking and climbing, the fun starts just a few steps outside the door or after a short drive by car. Two minutes away from the villa you will find “Solpark” with 7 artificial grass tennis courts and a miniature golf course. Rental of tennis rackets is possible.
Golf aficionados can enjoy playing the beautiful laid out golf course at the Ifach Golf Club at only10 minutes from the villa. 9/18 challenging holes with views of the Peñon d’Ifach will never cease to charm. The need for fine tuning your strokes? Let us introduce you to the local golf pro. In Javea an 18-hole golf course is at your disposal. Equipment can be rented at the club.
In 2015, the “Vuelta” finished on top of the Cumbre del Sol in Moraira and in 2016 the “Vuelta time trial from Javea to Calpe went straight through Moraira. In winter and spring almost all the pro-teams train in the Moraira area to prepare for the next season. If you want to ride with them make sure to be in Calpe at 10 o’clock sharp in the morning. If you want to ride alone or with friends, there are lots of challenges on routes that will satisfy riders of all levels. If you wish, we can arrange road bikes and e-bikes for you as well.
